As for me, I'm currently sick with some kind of stupid illness that's making the rounds. Starts out with some real bad sore throat and then goes over to fever and finally coughing and shit. Real pain in the ass because I can't really work at full capacity.
I claim this to be the first shitpost on Stevenchan 3.
Anyway nothing much going on right now.
Right now, I'm trying out this beta and *some* formatting *options*.
>>44293
It wouldn't hurt if you posted again regularly too.
>>44294
Indeed, I should resolve to check in more often.
I keep going to the "Return to Board/Jump to Top" links rather than the post button, as they stand out more. But equally I'm sure I'll get used to it.
>>44295
Yeah, I tried colouring the post button differently to make it easier to discern, but it always ended up standing out too much. Still definitely something I should find a way to fix though.
im;gay
Finally recovered from my illness.
Now that Purplish is done I should focus more on studying... ech.
Remind me to just stay away from Chinese food. Nothing good ever comes of it.
>>44326
Is this an euphemism for diarrhoea?
Well, I finished doing some guide thing to help myself and others at work. Now being bored. Can't bother myself to slice up some image for the planned theme for this really active and fast imageboard/forum.
>>44331
Get to work, fgt
i want to get this for shin for christmas

Gotta surround urls with <> to make 'em work. And I would like that typewriter very much.
>>44327
Nah, it's just the food of lies.
You expect it to be good because it sounds good - lots of veggies and eggs and all sorts of things - but it is always a disappointment. And sometimes quite gross.
Yet you keep coming back.
>>44340
Some bakeries/pastries are the worst at that. I know they aren't good and definitely not worth the money, but it just looks too inviting.
I received your letter in the mail yesterday, Shin.
Most of my days consist of going to work, gym, napping, and watching cartoons. |?I actually like this lifestyle.?|
>>44350
You disgust me.
>>44352
And not everyone's a lazy, good-for-nothing, weeaboo faggot like anon. What's your point?
>>44353
My point?
Well, fuck you.
That's exactly my point you stupid cunt.
>>44356
Choke on your letters you loser.
>>44353
Eat shit Shin.
>>44358
I hope you choke on your tongue while sleeping, you useless son of a bitch.
>>44357
I'd rather send you a packaged full of cocks. So you can choke on some.
>>44364
Sure, you'll just have to dig them out of your ass first.
HEY GUYS LET'S ALL GO TO COLOMBIA N BE COKE OVERLORDS
Should be on for movie night later, but going to be late as still out at the moment.
@sucky @minty @anon
You are all the worst people.
>>44374
"SHOW UP FOR MOVIE NIGHT MINTY! FUCKING DO IT! FFFFFFFFFF-" -shin
>>44378
And the biggest faggot shows up.
>>44379
Yeah the biggest one right in front of my eyes: Anon. Choking on dicks, so many of them.
>>44381
I work most days. Although this and next week I am only working for 2-3 days.
I found @minty.
Looking classy.
>>44389
i need a replacement, that dick's too small
A while ago on twitter I talked about the interesting idea of trying to boil down an experience to a single term or keyword. Certainly something like this won't be useful for people to read as reviews to get an impression, but it would be rather enticing for me to see what others think the 'essence' of something is and comparing that.
So, in order to do this I added a new service to TyNET: [Keyword reviews](http://keyword.tymoon.eu/). I for one will try to at least review everything we watch on movie night on there. Who knows, maybe this will turn into something neat!
going to get some groceries... i will try not to be late for movie night but i mean, i need to buy some food n stuff...
>>44407
It's now 18:19 and it starts 22:00, which means you have 3:40, which should be more than plenty of time to do shopping.

I can't stop listening to this.
>>44454
I couldn't bear listening to it fully even once.
I'm quitting my job at the end of the month. I achieved none of the goals set for me at the beginning of the year (not for lack of trying) and I can't stand trying to be a leader anymore. I'm not organized enough to be an engineer. I am not authoritative enough to lead people. I basically wasted 5 years of my life for nothing and I have to come to terms with it now. I have to find some new path now, which will most likely be grunt lab jobs with no promotion and shit pay, but it's better than failing every day.
>>44459
I hope you saved some coin.
It will all disappear trying to move back to my parents house.
>>44464
Your face would make a good banner.
>>44464
WHERES THAT THEME MBYTE!
YOU SAID THERE WOULD BE ONE!?!
I found myself on the internet. <https://vine.co/v/ObI1Z3tPTAe>
>Checked local online flea-markets for gamecube games
Well there aren't much games to choose from. Every third offer contains like same games.
Also visited a games store and asked them bout GC games. Got pointed to a shelve with like 15 games on it and most of them were crap.
I bought Metroid Prime from online since that was the only decent. Isn't the game I was looking for but close enough.
>>44505
You might have more luck with ebay or similar. Don't really know myself though, you might want to ask @suntomic about that. He'll probably know more.
>>44506
Probably yeah, just here comes my problem, that I have a debit card which is entirely useless regarding online shopping.
On local online market I bought stuffs by transferring money to the bank acc of the seller, after got the package.
>>44507
Ah, yeah, that's a shame. Understandable that local stores won't have anything anymore though since nothing has been produced for the GC in years.
>>44508
Well they do have used GC games for cheaper prices (Well shops who deals with used console stuffs). But even those are on low and kinda the same. As mentioned in the whole shop one shelf with 15 games.
i have to go to a birthday party from 1-3, which is movie night time... if it makes you feel any better it's for a classmate from my kid's class, so i'm gonna be hanging out with a bunch of five year olds... it's gonna suck

That has nothing to do with genetics, just with how completely awful you are.

Not going to be back by 9pm today I'm afraid... Running quite late.
So I had some strange dream, when suddenly my phone alarmed. Because on previous Saturday I had to work and forgot to set it off from the phone's alarm.
Anyway It's like a common law of the dreaming, whenever you have some dream, some stuffs more than likely gonna wake you up.
>>44808
a penis sliding into your butthole should've been what woke you up
cuz you're gay
>>44810
Stop projecting your fetishes to others.
Lately I've been waking up a minute before my alarm. I don't know why.
>>44812
Either you only think you woke up before it and don't remember the first ring, or you're sleeping regularly enough for your body to have gotten used to the schedule.
my alarm clock used to be all the way across my room... one time i woke up standing in front of it hitting the snooze button
...the next chat thread should be titled "stillborn"
one of my online classes had me do an 'are you ready to learn online' survey thing and it was full of questions like "are you motivated enough to log in daily and check your classes on your own?" and "does your computer run windows?" and "do you manage your time well?" and i answered everything honestly and what i got in my school email said shit like "you're not ready to learn online" and basically a lot of fancy "you need your hand held and you can't get that online" and "you should switch to windows"
ironically, the class that made me do this is under the same teacher from last semester who i got a 95-97% grade under. i'm offended
Afraid I'm not going to make it today... Going to be out rather late it seems.

Re pic: ...why the fuck does that thing have a yukkuri head?
my plans fell through... which makes sense, i guess... since i was the only one packing and actually excited for the trip...
the campgrounds i was going to go to yesterday don't allow reservations n the shit is on a first come first serve basis and california was having a free fee day combined with a 3 day weekend there ended up being a whole bunch of people thinkin' the same as me... so, there ended up not being any spots to camp at when i called to check yesterday, i went to go to a different state park just to explore n got lost n it was all atv trails to the tops of the desert mountains... in short, it looked just like where i live at n i ended up disappointed. everywhere i've lived at until here "park" and was always synonymous with "trees" and "greenery" but i guess southern california is so fucking drought'ed it mistakes "park" with "free range dirt" now
when i came back from that we made plans to leave earlier today, and then i laid down for a bit n did some schoolwork... and when i got up i went to say hi to one of my mice only to realize he wasn't moving. so, one of my mice died... and then when we woke up today my kid had a fever n was sick so there was no camping today n this is officially the worst waste of a weekend ever
and there's ants in my house. and my house is clean. this happened the same time last year too. february/early march is fucking ant rampage month when the lack of rain apparently starts driving ants to seek water inside peoples' houses. last year they were climbing around my sink. this year they're raiding my rat's cage because we were eating hard boiled eggs together last night and he left a few bits of egg white uneaten
i'm pissed
@shin
@sucky
>>44900
Wait what? No reservations? What fucking retarded management is this? You can make so much god damn money with reservations.
Find out where the ants get in from. Kill them all.
>>44902
there are very few camps open during the winter months... most everything is summer... because people here are scared of snow
"There are 14 campgrounds in the parks. Most are first-come, first-serve with a maximum of six people allowed per site"
there are a few that allow reservations, but that is mostly for the lodges/cabins...
i found where the ants came in at... i genocided a lot of them with lysol but i don't really enjoy having to kill them. i like ants. they're cool. after i genocided them all i swept n mopped the entire house n changed the rat's cage so he wouldn't have any leftover egg in there to attract the ants with n that seems to have done the trick. the ants are gone. for now... i'm sure i'll see them again. life in the desert is ass. wildlife is constantly coming into the housing area where there's water because lawn sprinklers. so, i have pictures of coyotes in my backyard... they'll free roam into peoples' backyards here n eat their dogs if they're small enough
one of the first conversations i had with a person here was about how she heard her dog whimpering n yelping in the backyard n went out n a fucking bobcat was mauling it
Work was closed today due to a terrible ice storm. I got no word of it so, like an idiot, I drive down roads that are practically solid sheets of ice (very slowly so I don't wreck, of course) to find the place closed and the security still engaged. Tomorrow the road conditions don't look any better. They better not cancel two days in a row. I don't give a shit if half the plant lives in bumfuck rural TN, we aren't in a position to just take days off.
In other news, apartment lease is almost up and I will be moving back with my parents again. Good for my mental health and money. Living alone is sorrow.
...i hate my classes. on a sidenote, i have an urge to send you all a present. something from the heart... maybe some homemade plush dongs
so, the question now is: who wants my cock?
Don't worry, you'll hate at least 50% of your classes. The end goal is worth it. Also, I'd like your cock.
>>44908
k, i'll need an email from you when you move back into your parents house again

I may not show up for the movie night of this weekend. My laptop has recently got a problem with virus and despite there was no issues or crashes for now I'm still scanning and re-scanning it until I'm sure everything is fine.
I can use the other computer of my home, but it is packed with a really shitty video card ATM so it is very likely the stream quality will turn messy.

Minty you fucked up
My road test is in two weeks. I thought of pushing back again but after the last few weeks I decided that I can't take working at the retail job where I do so much for so little money. Management really sucks at Target™. I have supervisors that don't know how to lead a team properly. Are unable to make better decisions, and fail to discipline their workers when they slack off. There are plenty of people who work there that clearly don't give a shit and often a detriment to our work, but they haven't fired them. Weekends are the fucking worst with people. They call out or they don't show up to work. It's always the same people that do this to us so why do they even bother putting them on the schedule for the weekends. There was a day where I had stock the grocery shit that came off the truck by myself because there weren't enough workers. A similar event happened on Sunday, except they managed to push a third of it before deciding to leave me by myself to finish the rest and take care of the shit that came out of the backroom, along with dealing with the garbage.
The worst people at Target™ are the women who work at the clothing department. All they ever do is talk shit about the workers and I have never seen them get done with their work. They often push it toward the next day for someone else to do it. Whenever I am working at the home department they sometimes get boxes that belong to my section. They respond by throwing it at my section(my section isn't even far from theirs) causing some of the boxes to break open. They always give me shit when I bring them some of their boxes that were mixed up with the home department. They also often leave their pallets on the floor for someone else to pick up. To why they don't bother to clean up their section, they are just plain too lazy to do it. I'm often the one to have to do it because my supervisors tell me to do it because I finish my section before theirs.
Anyway on to my to do list: write a new resume, apply to jobs, get a car.
even after driving halfway across the country to hickville, shin still finds a way to ruin my vacation... ghost rider is on and the nicolas cage has infected my soul... nicolas cage infections sound like bees, btw

This week has been so much brighter since going back to the gym. I now have a much more positive look at life again. I will keep an eye on any discrepancies on my lower back from now on.
I am feeling about 95% better now and just have a runny nose. It should clear up soon because it is very frustrating waking up and needing to find some tissue.
just got back home a few hours ago... i have acquired a set of deer antlers and a new sense of pity for sucky... i've never really been through the bible belt before until now and there's srsly churches on every fucking street corner damn near...
>>45000
Congrats on the 45'000th post.
Make sure to make it to movie night today tho. It's gonna be a good movie.
Bought myself an electronic darts. Luckily enough there was a good spot on the wall for it to have sufficient place.
Just made it through the aiport. Flight departs at 18:00, so I have to hang around the airport for another hour and fifteen. Hopefully everything in London will go smoothly and I should be back home on Wednesday. I'm excited for ELS, but also still scared shitless of all the things that could go wrong during this journey.
If I don't return, RIP me, I was pretty terrible.
>>45022
you're not terrible... just a little lost, which is fine for your age. you'll figure things out eventually n life will suck a little less. in the meantime, take care of yourself and enjoy your conference. *smooches* <3
>>45023
>life will suck less
Not according to anon, Sucky, or you. Nice move.
In the meantime, I've arrived at the hotel at around 21:20. The biggest thing I have to get used to is that the buses aren't on time.
So far my journey went as follows: No trouble at all at the airport, it was pretty relaxed except for my parents making a fuss for nothing. Flight was alright too, if it hadn't been for those dumb-ass kids and their annoying noise-toys. Spent the flight listening to music and drawing on my ThinkPad. The trouble only began once I got out of the plane. First I booked a PT ticket only for today instead of for today and the departure day. Great. I'll have to find a place to buy such a ticket again before I leave. Then the whole PT system in London is a clusterfuck. I had to go through a bus to the railway, then two train rides totalling almost a full hour, followed by another half hour of bus ride through the shadier districts of London while it's pitch-black outside. When I finally found my hotel they had to tell me that my booking wasn't in their system, so it took them another quarter of an hour to get that shit fixed and finally find me a room. Once in the room I had to realise that my "universal plug" didn't have a hole for the grounding, meaning I can't charge my laptop in the hotel. Great.
I'm now chilling in the bar and looking forward to the conference tomorrow. I'll also be meeting Mithent at the conference banquet in the evening, which should be fun. Now the only worry left is if I'll be able to make it back in one piece.
>>45024

In Zürich they can for the most part.
I am, actually! So far it's been well worth it.
Time to fly back! Still very exhausted, but also euphoric that everything went as well as it did. Tomorrow I already have to return to focusing on studying for university and working for my job. It was a nice, but short and valuable excursion. Hopefully I'll have a similar opportunity next year.

Have an onsite interview for a Carbon Black manufacturing site in Louisiana next Friday. Maybe I'll end up deeper South.

Would that be a better position than you have now?
My head is starting to hurt and I have a stuffy nose. I may have caught a cold. I blame public transportation.
It should pay around $8000 more per year in an area with a lower cost of living, which is great. It also has 3 other process engineers despite having around the same around of operators we have at my current place, which means I won't get stuck doing everything under the sun. I'm waiting to see how the work environment is, though. My current place is irritating me because the workers are can basically never be disciplined making them really unproductive and my efforts 5x harder because I have to play politics to make them want to believe they want to do what I want them to do. I'd rather the workers be more compliant so I can actually move projects ahead.

Not I am the one who's worn out because of the constant dick sucking. We all know you are the cock fairy around here.
I finally finished the G-Arcane! Now both kit you gave me are done, Anon.
i was wondering why i hadn't got my veteran's benefits yet, and so i called the veteran's affairs office at my school, and got a call back this morning, and they said that the last program approval i had from the school counselor's office was for my spring classes. it's summer semester. i called my counselor in april and spoke to her while i was signing up for the classes i'm taking. I CALLED MY COUNSELOR AND HAD HER APPROVE THE CLASSES I'M TAKING AND TOLD HER WHAT I WAS SIGNING UP FOR IN FALL AND SHE APPROVED THEM BUT DIDN'T APPROVE THEM. SHE WAS BASICALLY JUST LISTENING TO ME ON THE PHONE INSTEAD OF DOING HER HALF OF WHAT SHE WAS SUPPOSED TO BE DOING DURING THE CONVERSATION. so i have to talk to another counselor at 2 pm to get my shit corrected. i fucking hate this shit. this was supposed to be done halfway through april. i'm now like, half a month behind on my va benefits, and had to pay for my textbooks out of my own pocket.
Well, my browser just lost a long response about my own trouble with the Germans for my stupid part-time job. I'll just write the short conclusion: It's been three months since this started, I'm now on the last month of my contract, and the stupid shit with the taxes still hasn't been settled, mostly due to their secretary being a lazy, incompetent asshat, that leaves all the work up to me instead of doing her job and handling the paperwork for the other employees. Not going to work for them again in the future. Fuck that. I would get much better treatment and three times the pay for the same job level and hours at the ETH than I do at that fucking place.
on a sidenote, my astronomy teacher is awesome... from the email he sent:
Math:
In this class you'll have to know the main ideas behind some mathematical equations (for example, in the form of multiple choice questions on the exams), but you'll never use the equations to calculate a numerical answer on the exams. For example, the main ideas of Lecture 4's equations that everyone will be responsible for are:
Wien's law:
The hotter an object is, the shorter the wavelengths of light it emits (i.e. it emits bluer light).
The colder an object is, the longer the wavelengths of light it emits (i.e. it emits redder light).
Stefan's law:
The hotter an object is, the brighter the object is.
The colder an object is, the dimmer the object is.
Doppler Effect:
When an object moves towards an observer, the wavelengths of its light get compressed to smaller ("bluer") wavelengths. This "blue shift" can be used to mathematically determine the speed of the object moving towards the observer.
When an object moves away from an observer, the wavelengths of its light get stretched to longer ("redder") wavelengths. This "red shift" can be used to mathematically determine the speed of the object moving towards the observer.
the kid in this comic is you, sucky...
because i said so

Is this "Trying Too Hard: The Comic" or something
>>45126
no, cuz then it'd be made by you
>>45127
I'm not trying particularly hard at anything, so I don't see how that makes any sense either.
>>45130
This pleases me.
Good job, everyone.
>>45132
oh... you screencapped it too?
the adventures of superdong, monica, and pepper... the crime solving trio
this is how i imagine shin buys his chocolate
>>45134
As if I'd let myself down to the level of a commoner by buying chocolate *bars* from a *super market*. Who do you take me for? Obviously I only buy my chocolate from the finest chocolatiers.
goat + clown= yiiiiiiisssss
Real talk right here.
I'm fucking up my career. I can't hide my disgust at management anymore. The fact I can no longer remember anything related to engineering makes it hard to do anything anymore. All I do is talk to factory workers about updating charts, managing goal boards, and entering data into a sheet like a fucking clerk. I hate my fucking life. This job has undone everything I worked for in college. I hate this shit. My life was fucking wasted. What's the fucking point of this anymore? The money doesn't mean shit. I lost my dignity and meaning.
>>45164
I can't say that I have any answers. Maybe you should consult a therapist to have someone to talk to at length about this kind of stuff.
Had an interview for Mini Circuits next week and was told by phone that the position has been filled. They will keep my resume "active" in case there is another position open. Though I am not holding my breathe on it. Guess I'll continue the job search.
it is only the second day of my economics class and i hate it already... on a sidenote, this thread is taking forever to load. may be time for a new one

You got it, sister.
